Introduction to Roman Candle Biographies

	Skip Matheny Skip (25) plays guitar, provides lead vocals, and writes the band's songs, along with his wife Timshel and his younger brother Logan. He has a degree in English from UNC Chapel Hill, and he holds down a day job as a writer for the Chapel Hill Herald.
	Logan Matheny Logan (23) is the band's drummer as well as one of its songwriters. He has a degree in Communications from UNC Chapel Hill. Ulimately, Logan aspires to play on David Letterman, buy for now, his top priority is finding an affordable apartment.
	Timshel Matheny Timshel (24) plays the keyboard and is one of the band's songwriters. She grew up in Portland, Oregon, but came to UNC for school , where she earned a degree in English. She dreams of playing at Ryman Auditorium, home of the Grand Ole Opry.
	Carter Gaj Carter (19) is the band's bassist. He grew up in Raleigh and is now a student at UNC Chapel Hill. He hopes to one day play on "Saturday Night Live," and he aspires to support himself entirely by playing music.
	Nick Jaeger Nick plays guitar in the band. He grew up in Battle Mountain, Nevada, but came to NC to attend Gardner Webb University, where he received a degree in Communications. Nick aspires to one day quit his day job as a graphic designer and devote himself to music full-time.
