The Pioneer CDX-FM1289 is the ideal changer for anyone with a head unit that lacks an external input or changer controls.

This handy add-on has a built-in FM modulator with a choice of 12 frequencies, so it can be used with any receiver with an FM tuner. The CDX-FM1289 even has its own control/display unit, along with a wireless remote control.

This is a 12-disc changer, which makes it one of the largest capacity changers available. It can play CD and CD-R/RW, and it will display CD Text information. The CDX-FM1289 has disc memory for up to 100 discs, so users can enter titles that the player will recall whenever the particular discs are loaded. One interesting feature is the automatic gain control, which evens out the volumes to prevent very soft passages of music from getting lost.
