The high-torque 1.6-horsepower Kawasaki engine delivers enough juice to tackle commercial-level jobs, and features a heavy-duty crankshaft, chrome cylinder, and instantaneous throttle response.

The two-cycle engine is quite easy to start--just press the button and gently pull the starter rope. The fully covered carburetor and low-tone muffler keep noise and vibration to a minimum. The whole trimmer is balanced, from the top of the engine to the tip of the large safety guard.

Speaking of safety, the trimmer's slow-idle starter prevents the line head from turning during startup. Kawasaki offers a lifetime warranty on both the hollow steel drive shaft and electronic ignition module. Note: This product is not available in California.
