The Bellini Isabella Crib is a beautiful addition to a nursery. With its gently flowing lines, the Bellini Isabella is an example of the beauty of solid wood furniture. And because a number of safety features are built into this crib, it gets high marks for performance as well as good looks.

We like the ability to access a baby from either side of this crib, thanks to dual drop sides. The drop side release can be used with one hand, yet is accompanied by a safe two-step mechanism to prevent accidental release. Other safety features include the elimination of overhangs or protruding objects that could pose a strangulation hazard, as well as reinforced mattress support. The Isabella features four mattress height settings, four removable casters (two of which lock in place) and a storage drawer underneath. Finishes include white, coffee and natural.

We find that the Bellini Isabella Crib doesn't require an advanced engineering degree to assemble. Rather, the instructions are easy to follow and the assembly takes only several minutes (rather than hours) to complete. The finished product will likely become the centerpiece of any well-dressed nursery.
