Jason Hoch

Vice President, Product Development, Discovery Digital Media and HowStuffWorks.com

Jason is the Vice President of Product Development for Discovery Communications' collection of Digital properties, including Discovery.com, TLC.com, AnimalPlanet.com and HowStuffWorks.com. He is laser focused on product development and continually improving user experience for the digital arm of the world's number one non-fiction media company. Jason was an integral part of the team that helped transition HowStuffWorks.com following the 2007 acquisition by Discovery Communications.

A digital native, prior to his current post, Jason served as VP of Internet Operations for Imaginova where he coordinated and executed strategy across content and commerce for the company's leading science sites, SPACE.com, LiveScience.com, Aviation.com and commerce sites, OrionTelescopes.com, LiveScienceStore.com and StarryNight.com.

In an earlier role, Jason served as a Web Communications Manager for Tekelec, a leading telecom equipment provider. Additionally he served as a Senior Account Manager for the Internet consulting firm, Interpath Communications.

Jason holds bachelor degrees in political science and history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
